Have a Summer Full of Adventure at YMCA Day Camp!

At YMCA Summer Camp we seek to fight summer learning loss and childhood obesity while providing fun activities, character development, field trips and more for kids all summer long.

The camp cost includes breakfast,lunch,snacks,swimming,field trips, educational enrichment opportunities and many more summer activities.Once you complete the registration form and submit it along with the non-refundable registration fee, we will be able to reserve a space for your child!

YMCA SACC PROGRAM in Clay County Registration will open July 9th

Do you need care for your children after school? We offer School Age Child Care for grades K-6 from the time school is released until 6pm at 5 locations!

Forest Park Elementary School (also serving East Side Elementary and Meridian Elementary), Jackson Towship Elementary (also serving Clay City Elementary shuttle bus) and Staunton Elementary (also serving North Clay Middle School).

Registration Fee

$10.00 per child or $25 per household maximum

Enrollment Process

Call 812-442-6761, or visit the Clay County YMCA location. If your child receives free or reduced lunch at school, email msinclair@ymcaswv.org with verification to receive reduced weekly rates.

Contact the YMCA if your child is on the free or reduced lunch program.

Child Watch

Every Monday – Saturday morning, and Monday – Thursday evenings, members have the opportunity to work out while their little ones are in the safe care of our experiences child watch staff. Child watch is offered to ages 6 weeks – 6 years for just $10/month.

Xarcade

For the older children, come have fun in the Xarcade! This fun fitzone for youth features a variety of activities such as pool tables, foozball, alight up dance floor and more. Please do not leave children unattended while in the Xarcade. If members are interested in renting out this space for a party, please contact Nicole Fry at- nfry@ymcaswv.org

Spring Break Camp

During Spring Break, the Clay County YMCA offers youth, grades K - 8, fun and unique experiences with an opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet new friends, discover new interests, and create memories that last a lifetime. Contact Clay County Y to reserve your spot today: 812-442-6761

The cost for a full time camper (3-5 days) is $90.00 a week for members, $105.00 a week for non-members and we do offer part time (1-2 days) pricing, multiple child discounts,and a limited number of scholarships. ( Please see the Financial Assistance form).

Financial Assistance

At the Y, we care about the health and well being of our community. Our goal is that no one be turned away from the Y due to limited income. If you feel that you might qualify for assistance, please complete the form below and return it with documentation of your household income. Those that qualify will be eligible for either 50% or 75% off membership and programs like School Age Child care, Summer Day Camp and youth Sports. Applications for assistance can take up to 14 days to process.
